February was my second worst month out of 38. I lost over $3500 in total. The month ended with a a little $11 rebuy satellite for a $115 seat.
I wasn't going to play it as the first 2 players registered for it I knew were both from Leicester and their aliases and home town were both written in capital letters.
My suspicions were further strengthened when of them asked the other where abouts in Leicester they were from (lol) 1REALDEAL1 (LEICESTER) decided not to answer SOYABEAN72 (LEICESTER)'s question. What followed was one of the most awful games of poker I've ever played.
It started with a slowroll by SOYABEAN72. The game now 3 handed, the chip leader, 1REALDEAL1, intentionally began to stall the progress of the game by running down the clock every hand with over 20 minutes of the rebuy period still to go! I think he thought he was using some super cool $11 satellite strategy to try to win $115 oohhhhhhhhh! lol Talk about trying to get an edge. Guess he learnt a lot at the WPT bootcamp he attended that he so proudly shows off on his profile.

In order to combat his stalling I had to make it a preflop game so that the stalling player couldnt stall pre-flop, on the flop, on the turn and on the river as he wanted too. I was trying to either insta fold or insta push preflop.
Eventually, we got to the the freezeout stage with one $115 seat for first place and $57 for second. I wasn't gonna let these muckers bubble me as I'd just bubbled in a previous satellite. The odds were against me though as I was the short stack, having invested $100 and against 2 players from Leicester with questionable poker ethics. Things were not looking good.
For once though the bad guys didnt win as I busted both of these mofos!
